I've noticed that you make Mamo-chan almost feminine in some of these pictures. It's not in the norm, and I kinda like it.

The characters are drawn in the exact same style the MANGA author drew them. In the manga, he actually is drawn in a somewhat feminine-ish appearance (as are most of the male characters).

But, it's not a dig, and it kinda sounds like you thought it was. I think it's kinda cool that you drew him more feminine than the norm. It's different and I like it. (Suits his Mr. Motivational Speaker personality in the anime. Am I right in thinking that he's more than that in the manga? I've only got 1 book.)

It's almost identical, I'd say. if I haven't seen Naoko's artbooks before, I hardly could distinguish whether it's yours or hers work! It is indeed so emotional pic. I've never understood how any of them are "sailors" exactly. They don't sail ships and they're all uniformed school girls. I've often wondered if Japan's naval force looks like the cast of Sailor Moon though
