My first Ultraman chibi and we start at the newest one, Ultraman Ginga.
I've watched a couple of episodes of Ginga, and so far, I'm really liking it. His opening theme for the show itself is good, his fighting theme/the one I linked is AWESOME, and I like Ginga's design as a nice return to form with the standard red & silver suit.
One of the things about Ginga that I like is that with his Ginga-Spark henshin device, he can transform into various Ultramen and Ultraman Kaiju.
At the time of this posting, Ginga's yet to turn into another Ultra as he's only turned into monsters first then turns into Ginga.
I'm also loving the next episodes of Ginga because Ultraman Tiga is coming back! YES!!! Lately, I felt bad for Tiga getting the shaft sometimes since he's the one who BROUGHT BACK the Ultra series. He should get some more recognition.
In fact, if I can get it together before Morphicon, I'd like to cosplay as Ultraman Tiga. I saw some Rider cosplays at Morphicon so, why not some Ultras crashing the party, eh?

I have to be honest, I never took ultraman seriously.
I do try to watch some episodes and what not, but I'm always thinking it's some kind of galactic wrestling federation, and I always end up laughing at that idea.
Still, the manga is awesome (even though it should be called Ultra Ironman), and maybe I'll begin with Mebius.

I need to give the Ultra Series a genuine try someday, but I don't know how far back I should go for starters.
I tried to watch Tiga when it came to the USA, but it only aired a few episodes and then disappeared.

Yeah, I think you should try to look for Tiga fan-subs as I think that's the possible best start for newcomers into the Ultra series/Along with Ultraman Mebius.
