...Yeah, you read that title correctly.I saw the Sony press conference last night and I'm about to learn more about what Nintendo did and what I saw?
MY MIND WAS BLOWN BY AN ATOMIC BOMB.
Sony showed off the PS4 and pretty said "F You" to Microsoft in the fact that the PS4 will work with Used Games/Sony said it's up to the 3rd party publishers but I don't think they'll restrict it due to Microsoft's BS with the XBox-One along with the games.
I'm not joking: Killer Instinct will be a Day-One free to play game. However, there's only 1 character to play with off the bat and that's Jago. You then have to pay for the rest of the characters......
Is Microsoft actively TRYING to piss us off? Because it's working.
ANYWHO, Sony announced a much-awaited game in development: Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm excited because Kingdom Hearts is probably one of my most favorite franchises of all time.
Nintendo took another swing and announced Super Smash Bros for both the Wii-U and 3DS. They also announced a new fighter to the mix, and I think you know who it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPWkPu…

Megaman looks very cool to play as and he's got multiple robot-master powers like the Metal-Blade/AWESOME and even Heat-Man's flame sword/Sorry if I got that wrong.
He's also getting a Wily Castle fight stage. AWESOME! Also at the end of the trailer, Yellow-Devil looks to be like a boss character in the story mode.
It also looks like that Nintendo is treating Mega-Man with some respect/Unlike Capcom. Though I wonder what would happen when the Fully-Charged Mega-Buster collides with Samus's Power Cannon.
And I'm in my suit showing my excitement.

Megas' ok, but I think it's the wrong "man"...and so as wii-fit, villager and little mac...not to mention Rosalina appearance is just ok. she's alright.

It's still fresh in my mind MS attempted suicide, which resulted in the Xbox One becoming an Ex-box One. Sony decided to pull a pointless move that also made them look a little like a jerk. I mean, most people get PS+ for the games, so requiring it for online multiplayer was just a form of overkill that was going to offend some people. They were just lucky Valve didn't have the Steam Rollers ready. I expect to see those things next year, which I hope Sony will have dropped the online multiplayer fee since that's the main thing keeping me from getting a PS4.

I'm actually hoping that Square will put KH3 on SteamOS/Steam if Wii U is impossible. PS4 and Ex-box One share the same architecture as the PC. PS4 is supposed to run on a modified version of a PC OS based a GNU/Linux Distro called FreeBSD and SteamOS is also a GNU/Linux Distro, I don't think porting Kingdom Hearts 3 to SteamOS would be a royal pain in the butt for Square. As for piracy issue that companies complain about on PC, there is a much better solution to it then DRM: troll them. torrentfreak.com/game-pirates-… Earthbound's DRM is another example of trolling, so it can be done properly on games from different genres.

The best way to fight copyright infringement is not to use DRM that legit consumers will ever notice (such as always online, streaming, or activation codes like online passes), but to make customers feel like VIPs (like GOG does; DRM thrown in the trash and optional free bonus content available for download), make legal options affordable (Steam's frequent sales are why people enjoy it), try to make things available worldwide (this is sort of a problem with region locks, but some regions censor certain things, which explains it; I believe Europe made it illegal to allow players to kill kids in games at some point, so that explains why it may not be an easy solution without censorship) or specifically target and troll pirates (this used to be common in the past. I think some companies still do it, but it seems a number have become paranoid and started trusting no one, which actually doesn't help companies.)

I'm giving it to Sony because they were supporting the facts of playing used games, you can buy used games, along with trading them into places like GameStop or this local place called GameSwap in my town along with letting your friends try out your games.
Unlike the XBox-One which is DRM'd up the Ying-Yang that it makes the console a glorified Set-Top box for your TV and THAT'S IT/I swear gaming is an after-thought on the XBox-One.

As I've said to many of my friends and relatives, Microsoft buried themselves weeks before E3. This just put the final nail in their coffins. X-Box One is gonna crash before it even hits the shelves.

Yeah, Microsoft is pretty much DEAD to gamers now/Except Die-Hard XBox fan-boys who won't listen to ACTUAL facts.
And agreed on the Megaman & Kingdom Hearts thing. I would LOVE to see what kind of worlds that Sora could travel to/I'm hoping for a Star Wars level where you can fight either Darth Vader or the Emperor along with a Marvel level where Sora can team up with The Avengers.
As for the Avengers voice cast if they decide to do that, I'd personally pick the voice cast from Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes because I honestly do not like the new cartoon for the Avengers.

Though here's what I would want in it since Disney has the rights now...
Sora VS DARTH VADER, the Kingdom Key VS the Dark Side of the Force.
Who could win in a fight like that? Plus, Disney owns Marvel SO, it's not that un-expected to think that Sora may team up with the Avengers, right?

Still not entirely happy about Disney owning so many rights to marvel and Star Wars, but I'll give them a chance. For now. But if they do add in Star Wars, they better not screw up Darth Vader. That's all I'm saying on the subject.
As for KH3 being multi, that's fine. Either way I probably won't even get to get a new console for a few months after they release since I'm planing to join the military. So we'll see how things turn out by the time I can get my hands on one. Hopefully MS will change their policies and I can rejoice in still being able to continue playing the Halo series with my buddy like we always have. Till then, I'll be waiting with the PS4 and the Xbox 360 I have now.

Sadly, from what I hear on the XBox-One, even if you're in the Military and if the Internet connectivity is crap, the XBox-One wouldn't even be able to work. Not even joking.
Also, so far, Halo 5 is only known to be playable on XBox-One so, no news yet on if the game will be on the XBox-360.
And yeah, they shouldn't screw up Darth Vader. Heck, if they can somehow get James Earl Jones & Ian McDiarmid/Vader & Palpatine respectively to come back, that game would already become DAY-1 bought for me.
If they can't, I'd personally go with Matt Sloan/Who played Vader in the Force Unleashed games.
