Description
One of my favorite things about the Sonic community is how every fan has a different idea of what Sonic “is.” How he acts, what he looks like, the environment, what his games should be like, etc. So originally I was going to try and draw the different versions of Sonic from all media, but considering how big the project was and how little time I had to get it done before his birthday passed I scrapped the idea.

Instead, I decided to draw the version of Sonic that got me into the franchise. That being Sonic from Ghosts of the Future, a wonderful fanmade comic by Evan Stanley. While I had heard of Sonic before the comic, Ghosts of the Future was what really introduced me to the series and encouraged me to find out more about the characters. I loved the comic so much but I knew so little about the characters, so it inspired me to learn their stories!

Honestly I don’t know if I ever would’ve been as big of a fan of Sonic as I am now if it weren’t for GOTF. I really look up to Evan Stanley and hope I can make a comic as good as hers one day. ^^
