i haven't found time to process this set at all.. anyway a quick one~if you find the crop a little weird, it's space left for the art director and editors to crop and put in texts. it's for my school mag but it's gonna be in bw and i think it's not my best.

Actually I think the "excess' around the edge gives it a better spatial feel than it might otherwise have had. Rather nice.

in my humble opinion, i think it would be not as lovely of a shot if published in black and white because then the subtle contrasting between the colors would be lost. that is what draws me to the photo. the play of the horizontal lines of the red in the stockings that is played back at you again in the rust on the corrugated fence. its a lovely shot and i actually like the shot as is.. no cropping necessary.

i think it will look very nice on spread, because it's usually quite different viewing an image as 2page or one page spread rather as compared to viewing online...
and yes it sux in black and white~ this is the colored version for my portfolio... the bw ones i did them separately from the raws. but yeah i just don't think it looks nice in bw. T_T

true that it will look so much different in a mag... i forget that photos take another look when printed on magazine stock.... duh!
