Description

The sun was only just starting to shine when Sophie woke up. She got up and checked on her horse, Seija was just reaching for some grass which was just out of her reach. Sophie loosened the rope a bit before she went to the small stream to clean herself up a bit. She took some time to wash her face, being careful to not get any of the muddy water in her mouth. Sophie was almost done when she heard something that resembled the growl of a walker in the distance. She quickly packed up her stuff and by the time she was done she could make out a large horde of walkers, which had almost reached her camp already. Sophie quickly climbed on top of the black mare and nudged her forwards, picking up a canter.
She only let the mare slow down after they got a good distance away. They slowed down to a halt and Sophie let her horse graze for a bit while she checked which direction they should head in. Sophie knew the herd would catch up to her if she didn’t keep moving, they would have to find some sort of shelter. That’s when she spotted some buildings in the distance. One of them was a large prison-like building, all fenced in with what looked like guards in the towers. If she was lucky they’d be willing to help her, it was either that or hope she could outrun those walkers..
