Discipline:

Personality:
Ten is quite a fierce and intimidating stallion, but he has a gentle side too. He loves to play with foals and will be very careful when doing so.
The stallion has pretty good control over his fire powers and often uses his fire to intimidate others. When he does he'll make purple flames appear all around him, effectively creating a barrier. He only seldomly uses his fire to actually hurt others and only when he doesn't have any other choice.

When Ten is flying through the sky, he often finds it fun to let himself fall and then flying up again just before he hits the ground. Other's have often scolded him for doing so, but this just resulted in him only doing it when he's alone.

Quirks:
- Fierce and intimidating
- Gentle towards foals

Favorite food:
Blueberries

Least favorite food:
Not yet found

You should have linked me the reff once it's up, oh well.

Also I don't think it's genetically possible to get a Champagne out of a Red Dun Roan and a Bay

I usually don't mention such stuff, but as he's part of a stable, I'd have a look into that.

The most common phaenotype for the foal would probably be a Bay with either Roan or Dun or both modifiers.

I'm sorry about that, I'd completely forgotten.
I looked into it and you're completely right! If I'm correct I can change the design up a lil' bit to a red dun. That one should be possible, right? I'm still very new to this

No problem

Well there's a good side to calculate the possibilities: www.animalgenetics.us/Equine/C…

His dam is a solid Bay (Mealy is not available there but you could pass it down if you wanted) and the sire is a Red Dun Roan (Flaxen is only possible on a chestnut, so keep that in mind, too). If you don't know the exact genos then just leave them on "unknown"

This is what I get as results: (I'm still amazed that the foal could be black xD)

16.41% - Bay Dun

16.41% - Bay Roan

16.41% - Bay

16.41% - Bay Dun Roan

6.25% - Red Roan

6.25% - Red (Chestnut/Sorrel)

6.25% - Red Dun Roan

6.25% - Red Dun

2.34% - Black

2.34% - Grullo Roan

2.34% - Grullo

2.34% - Blue Roan

Thank you SO much! That really helps a lot!

And WHAT, a black foal seems very illogical.

No problem

I'm not a master of genotypes but I can explain you the basics in case you ever come across something weird.

Well, yes. A black horse is like a chestnut with a black layer (eumelanin) on top (that's not the biological explanation, but that helps to understand it).

Black is generally dominant so will always cover red, unless there is a restriction gene called agouti, which reduces the black areas to legs and hair mostly (a Bay horse).

Obviously, if there is no black (eumelanin), the red will show. So a chestnut is the most basic genetic horse possible.

As the mare has some black genes (although resticted through agouti, which makes her a bay), there is a small possibility that the foal has no agouti gene and as black is dominant it will cover the whole body (hence it will be a black foal).

Is that understandable? c:
