I know, I know, its not knee length or conservative, but its in the style and inspirtation. Though I would say its more accurately called than most things dubbed lolita these days Thank you!

I agree with you there. That's the problem with people trying to design clothes for fashions they've only seen on google images (I don't mean you )

Very cool! You are a very talented seamstress. Do you do commissions?

Thank you for the compliment!

I do take commissions! If there is something youd like to have made, feel free to note me with anything you have in mind. I can sketch it up and give you a quote ^.^

I have a pricing guide up [link] , but right now it only has information for the Fleece Genki Hats. Its much harder to set a guide for clothing items, as fabrics and materials vary so much in price depending on whats used.

where did you learn to sew like that i would love to learn

Trial and error Ive always wanted to sew, and one day I just decided it was time and dug in. Been getting better ever since I cant get enough of it

I suggest if you want to learn, pick up an inexpensive sewing machine (craigslist, or borrow a friends), and start out with simple things. You dont need many stitches if you are just learning, and its also helpful if you study how things are made. Look at the stitches and cuts of different things, and try to visualize how it was put together. Your first few things might not be amazing, but you only get better by trying

Do you happen to know how to make gypsy skirts? The classic ankle length tiered skirt with an elastic waist? if you need a picture, i can take one of mine.

I do ! Picture references do help for exact details and what not, but I am pretty sure I know exactly the skirt style you are talking about (and prolly have one in my closet ) Sort of like this: [link] give or take tiers and color/s?
