Nathan Emmans does something that's pretty awesome in my book. He finds gigs at local (Honolulu) venues and fills up the time slot with other local music acts that he digs, punctuating each night with his own songs. His guitar playing is pretty baller, though I'm no musician to comment on it with eloquence.
