Hope you don't mind, but this just came into mind as my own little story for this scene.
It's from Selena's perspective.
I never really listened to angry music much, but I did this time around, enjoying the raw screams of the vocalist combining with the hard sound of the guitar an the rhythmic smacks of the bass.
When I opened my eyes again I was no longer in the station, instead finding myself in grey, monotonous surroundings, like the inside of some industrial complex.
"Who the hell are you?"
The speaker was obviously male, his voice low and gruff, and full of menace. I turned around to see an abnormally large wolf striding out of the shadows, a huge, muscular torso supported by equally muscular legs, broken chains hanging from steel loops around his arms, each link easily the size of my hand.
"I-I'm Selena," I stuttered, holding the tape I had been listening to in shaking hands as the stranger walked right up to me, dwarfing me with his imposing figure.
It was then I noticed the red marks on his white jerkin.
"I-is that..." my voice trailed off, the words getting stuck in my throat.
"Blood?" the hulking figure finished, glancing at the red stains "yeah. Don't ask,"
"I-I'm sorry for..." I began, my timid voice once again catching as I stared upwards into the eyes of the stranger.
The stranger chuckled, a low, booming sound emanating from deep within his chest.
"Do yourself a favour kid," he said, looking at the music tape in my hands before snatching it away from me, his powerful hands enveloping the small bit of plastic. He chuckled again "Panthera, decent,"
The stranger glared back down at me, seeming to enjoy how I shrunk back as he brought his face closer to mine, shoving the tape back into my hands as he did so.
"Never listen to anything like this again, I won't be so amiable next time around,"
And just like that I was back in the station, my headphones hanging limp around my neck, the tape sitting in my hand with a name scratched into its now-cracked surface.

My story of imagination**
Selena walked down the the street listening to her music when her phone rang. She picked i up and answered "Hello?..... Oh hey Jamie..... Down an ally? No way, thats to scary!.......Fine." Selena said and took a U-turn down into an ally. Her inner gut told her not to go but she went anyway knowing that her friend would be waiting for her. Once she got to the very end of the ally she stood there and was about to call Jamie when a firm grip caught onto her shoulder. As she looked back two men grabbed her and Selena blacked out.
When Selena woke up she was chained to the walls by thick heavy leather and chains. On the opposite of her she saw a male white wolf, she looked up as tears leaked out her eyes. As two doctors came in Selena cried out in horror. "Don't take me plece!!!" Selena didn't know what she was saying or why, all Selena knew was she was scared out her mind and would do anything to keep them away.

Seelena has know idea what had occurred, but the tape has the answers, blaitent and frantic. She follows the voice to a part of town everyone overlooks. The world's too large for things not to be hidden beneath her nose. She finds a strange man in a pool of blood, none of the blood his own. No recollection of past events either, but the little cat holds up the tape and flashes make him gaze at the red cartridge. He doesn't know what it means, but he knows there's something still left unfinished...

Based on your Sleep Lake, I'm think I know what's happened. Considering that the "doctor" is trying force her way into the girls worlds might have triggered some kind of defense mechanism, Selena doesn't look to be afraid of him, neither he is not paying her no attention. It's like they know each other.
The chains and the blood, he might be Selena's defence mechanism. A watchdog, trying to defend his home and his master
But then again, is just a theory.Β

While bending down guy carrying red paint bucket trip on her.
He fall and bucket splash him.
Slowly he get up and stares at her.
Right in the eye.
Full of mad.
He slowly whispers
