Apologies for commenting at a time when you inbox is no doubt heaving. I'll leave just this one.
Firstly, your street photos are great. They remind me of Mr Weeks', which I hope you'll agree is a pretty high compliment.
The editing on your dd was great, but I noticed on this one that you export with Lightroom?
Of course I could be completely wrong about you doing that, but if you look at the girl second on the left, round her hands and camera you'll see a hell of a lot of artifacts. This is what the wonderful Lightroom does to my photos when I resize while exporting.
Just a (possibly unnecessary) heads up.

hey dude, yeah the inbox is woeful... the internet is just incredible. i cannot believe that i post what is only a candid personal snap, and in under 24 hours someone stamps a dd on on and its presented to the online community.
it blows my mind.
thanks for the compliments! i like his work.
ill check that out eh. it probably wasn't a high res export - i don't really spend heaps on posting here, unless its something i've already worked up for folio or competition...
not unnecessary at all mate!
cheers.

I hardly ever take 'normal' pictures. We see the normal every day, why not live a little and see something a tad weird?
Excellent job!

oh how humourous.
must've been shooting a giant australian icon or something like that. isn't that what all japanese tourists do?
oh, individuality. if we want to get picky it's the one second from the right - the apparently uncool one. society, what a joke.

Even at f2.8, it looks pretty sharp. (the poles too)
Well done, I like it.

2.8.. wide open, its a good lens though. leica. but most good nikon and canon lenses will be sharp at 2.8, even if that's wide open for the lens.

no, the lens had no coding on it, so it didnt record the f/number. about 2.8 i think.
