Earth
Back on the Earth, Ethan grew up in a dojo since he could remember at a young age. The dojo was one of the dojos that famous in kung fu, Wing Chun (咏春), that was located on a mountain in Kyoto, Japan and organized by his mother's side of the family. As the only son who comes from such a well-known dojo, Ethan didn't have the chance to have a carefree childhood. He has carried the weight of the name of the dojo on his shoulders since he was young, learning martial arts to represent his family even when he was just a child. As a result, Ethan could be rebellious as you may think of-- A child who would skip practices just to play with friends or fight for his own rights. Which would often see his mother come to him and drag her son home.

Despite having a strict schedule that was arranged by his family, it didn't stop him from learning and understanding more about Wing Chun and some basic techniques of other martial arts. And as the efforts he pours into kung fu has started to pay off, he won several rewards when participating in some competitions since he was a teenager. People started to want to get to know him more, while some dojos gained attention toward him as well and were often invited to a friendly challenge to the dojos by others. Sometimes the attention might be a bit too strong for him to handle in the town, and he would move around by distinguishing himself from the crowd.

His life could be chaotic but still smoothly that he could handle alone. Until a certain day, a challenger brought a weapon into a duel and harmed Ethan when he tried to protect someone injured. The weapon was heavily wielded at the back of his head, and before Ethan went unconscious, he made sure he landed a final fatal strike to the opponent before he fainted.

Aesthia
Ethan was the 1st group of humans who arrived in Aesthia. Without any detailed memories attached to him, he was lucky to meet a certain Aesthian who gladly took him in after they witnessed how smart Ethan was towards martial arts. Perhaps it was destined, the Aesthian was a master of a certain dojo as well, which settled near Elledolias. Despite Ethan did join the protectors for years, Ethan removed himself as a protector and work in the dojo for an amount of time. In the meantime, he learned ‘the art of spear’ (槍術) from the Aesthian, which was a popular martial art in this dojo.

There was one time when Ethan spends his time around a market, he managed to stop the snatch thief when they tried to run away. Which he bumped into a white werewolf who was in charge of this duty, who had captured the thief’s partner. Seeing how skilful of each other, they decided to exchange their names after that. Maybe Ethan should get to know this werewolf better in the future.
