]-[]-----------------------------------------------------------------Hi everyone! As you probably know, I'm being very busy with my exams! I couldn't upload nor answer comments lately, and this situation will remain the same for a week or so. There are two orals left to do, but very intensive ones! (Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics, and Electromagnetism) Let's hope this suffering will end soon, I couldn't touch my camera for far too long now. Besides, I have planned a lot of photographic trips with my friend Luigi once we're done with exams, so we'll do our best to have fun and take good shots!
Meanwhile, I'm asking you to forgive me for not answering all your comments and for not being able to thank you for your continuous support. This is my little way of thanking you: a full postcard you can freely print of Santorini!

It's my dream to receive that postcard one day.

mhhh... ok! This was meant to be a little... "gift"! (you know, good manners require to ignore the price! 
Anyway, the lens is the usual (and the only one I own) 18-70, and the filters should be a Blue GND4 + Pola. The photo was made from three shots (fast) stitched together.

If it's a 3 shot stitch, you must have a bloody huge original picture... How about submitting it for a print?

mmhhh... dunno, probably 'cause it just look like a postcard to me. You know, beautiful things may still be beautiful, but without interpretation I wouldn't call it "art". I can upload a print anyway, it's not going to cost me a penny after all.

Who cares if it's art (or better said: artisty enough)? The biggest point is that you had fun making it and the result is more than satisfying IMO.

I'd love to go back here and do some shooting. I reckon this is the kind of shot where you could use the telephoto and have an more abstract collection of houses and foofs filling the shot.
My tendency is always to shoot as wide as possible, but I'm trying to train myself to do more work after 100mm...and this is a location that I think would work with that

You're right though, one should train in every aspects of photography. Sooner or later I'll have to buy a tele, and I was thinking about the Sigma 70-300 APO Macro to begin with 'cause of its cheap price.

I know mate...I do have the same thing....it's something I'm trying to train myself in as well, although I'm not good at it.
It's the same with looking to pick out minimal shots for black and white conversion....I'm trying to do that more as well, but again, it requires a whole new way of "seeing".

The Nikkor 18-70 DX. Though it was made from three vertical exposures.

Gli esami sono andati... anche abbastanza bene anche se ieri ho preso una tranvatella...
Comunque resta il fatto che a Santorini bisogna tornarci, magari non d'estate che Γ¨ un po' invivibile, ma tipo Maggio secondo me Γ¨ perfetto!
