Kimberly had not seen anyone for about 4 hours now, she started to panick a little bit. She was starting to get terribly cold and the map wasn't helping a lot either. Punk was starting to get impatient because she didn't want him to move while looking at the map. Then he turned his head and he started neighing. Someone was closing up on them

Riley noticed that somewhere over there had to be someone, he wanted to ride a big bow around the strangers when his eyes caught the horse and rider pair behind some trees. He also saw how she tried to handle a big map and already guessed she somehow lost the group again. He sighed, rolled his eyes and then carefully rode closer. He still felt like he couldn't just leave her behind. Zena just walked the way Riley showed her and didn't even lift her head when she heard the greeting of another horse.

Kimberly was suprised, it was Riley. She felt kind of ashamed too. Seemed like she couldn't handle it all alone. Punk was excited to see an other horse, even better. A mare. He started rearing and trotting. Lifting his head to show how amazingly handsome he was. Kimberly couldn't help but laugh about his silly behavior. " hello Riley, I... might need some help. "

"Guessed so already", Riley just answered while watching Kim's eager stallion. "When did you lose the group?" He tried to ride a bit closer, so he could maybe show her where she was on that map and where the group could be.

" lost them about 4 hours ago. had to take some distance because, well ... Punk was getting aggrassive towards the stallions. " she pointed here finger. "There, that's where we came from. "

Riley nodded and seemed to think for a few moments. "Hm, there will soon be a point where we'll have to go down a little hill, it's the only way to follow the route properly, there they will cross too. If you want I can lead you there, have to go there anyways", he said then. Wait. Was he really considering riding with someone else for quite some time?

Kimberly smiled. "let's do that. " she could see the regret on his face. But she did need his help. she will leave him alone after she finds the group again. till then. This would be an awkward jouney.

Riley nodded again. "Then better don't waste time." He rode in front with Zena, being aware not to ride too close to the stallion with her.

Kimberly started to feel more awkward by the minute. After 30 minutes of complete silence. She needed to talk about...something, anything really. "soo.. do you like it so far Riley ? It's quite cold isn't it ? "

The grump just mumbled a "yes. maybe", not even looking at her. Zazenach didn't seem too interested to get in contact with that stallion either.

Kimberly looked down, was it her. or did he .. just ignore everyone. " gorgeous mare you've got there.. her mane are so pretty and long. must take a lot of time taking care of them. "

"Yeahuhm, gladly she isn't mine, I see the girl owning her struggling with her hair everyday", he just answered, without much affection. He sighed silently again when he remembered Lia's words one more time. Maybe he really should at least try to be less of a grump to innocent participants.

kimberly smiled. " ow I can imagine. so you have been riding horses for a long time riley?" she stroke punks manes. he was behaving normall again and deserved a compliment.

"Probably." His answers were still short. But at least this time he brought himself to say something else. "And you? You handle your Obertaurer stallion pretty well, must have been quite some work." Even if he didn't look at her.

she grinned. she managed to get a question back. " it took some time to train him yes. so much energy in his body. But now a I managed to make him use it for useful stuff. like endurance."

Riley nodded again and mumbled a "Good to hear." His eyes wandered over the land in front of them. It became muddier and muddier. They'd soon have to reach the hill part.

Kimberly got a better hold on the reins, she noticed the mud too. Hopefully Punk would remain calm now and don't have a random freak out moment in the mud. she didn't really feel like cleaning herself. " you know where you are going Riley ? "

"Of course I know where we are going", Riley began, in a harsh voice which softened when he remembered he wanted to try being almost friendly. Zena instead began to act a bit more nervous and her steps became more careful and higher. She clearly didn't want to get muddy either.

kimberly smiled nervously "alright then, if you say so. ...I will give you some nice hot choco when we arrive in obertaurn ...if you want that of course. you helped me out quite alot ."

"Nah, thanks, that's nice but I'll stick to my own drinks", was the friendliest answer he found.

kimberly giggled. "I see ..you prefer the more ..stronger drinks. ha, I can have fun watching that." while she was trying to make a proper english sentence Punk slipped a little bit and she quickely grabbed on to his mane. "holy cow boy you scared me."

"You won't see much", he said before he turned around to her. "You okay?", he asked in a completely normal and calm voice because he already noticed that nothing serious had happened. "Be aware, it will become even slippier later on."

" yes ..yes I am oke. ow dear. that will be a mess." she made punk walk even slower.

After a short while they were at the place Riley talked about earlier. "There", he said, "you hear the voices? In that direction they are, you can catch up now, I'll keep staying behind."

kimberly made punk walk next to the gorgeous mare and looked at Riley. " thanks again Riley...you are a real savior." then she pressed her heels slightly against punks belly and trotted towards the voices in the distance. leaving Riley behind, once again.
