The girl on the left looks a bit like Megan Fox, tbh.

ahh in my opinion to draw unique features, it's important to stay away from the appeal of what an attractive person should look like. Idealistic body types and facial features are pleasing to look at, but they usually don't differ too much in appearance and so drawing the same face is a common occurrence

small details like the nose bridge, eyelids (like how Caucasians have more pronounced indentured/ caved eye sockets etc), cheekbone/jawline length, shape of the nostrils and bottom/top lip shape can change a lot, so it's not just the eyes or face shapeΒ

yeah, hmm, I think its difficult to establish a style that allows that flexibility w/ face and body shape.. I think caricature artists do it best, loishΒ is really good w/ that too.. I'll need to experiment w/ the small details! Thanks for your input!

idk if you want a critique but you did say "let me know how it went" so I'll try

I mean, if you're trying to avoid same face syndrome, pay attention to more than just the eyes and the expression. do a little more about the natural shape and size of the lips, nose, and eyebrows, change the shapes of the cheeks and chins, change the distance proportions a bit (distance from eyes-eyebrows, mouth-nose, etc). Hopefully that will help.

Of course you're a much better artist than me in many ways, and I look up to your style so much, but these are just little things I think could help improve even more!

I LOVE the way these are painted! It's really gorgeous. My opinion on how the face thing went is..their eyes, eyebrows, and the colors you used are the only difference I'm really seeing other than expression. Their jaw and face shape are the same, lips very similar, and nose seems the same. I think they'd look very similar if making the same expression, but there ARE some differences. I wouldn't think they are the same person but definitely seem related going off facial features.

Perhaps try to paint the faces without hair first to see if that distracts from the facial features. The eyes, nose, lips, and head shape of these girls are identical to me. If the girl on the right made the same face expression as the one on the left, they'd look almost like twins. If you treat every feature on the face like a variable where the size, length, shape, etc. differ, I think that could help.

you did really well with the eyes and face shape!!!!
but u should give ur art more variety with noses and lips!

ur really good and im sure that you will be able to draw any kind of face soon!

thanks ^_^ I'll think about it.. I kinda wanted to keep the nose/lips similar like in Kushinov Ilya's and Samuel Youn's works bcz I want it to be recognizable "oh that's so and so's art"

it went really well, the faces both have their specified shape that gives them both the sexy and cute look. There is a bit of similarity with the noses that kinda gives both faces a heart shape, so more of a cute sexy look. but the improvement looks like an overall success. great job.
