An ancient debate. Nature vs nurture. Which influences behavior?
Modern consensus agrees on a median between the two - rarely is behavior derived solely from biological or environmental factors. They most always work together.
It's hard to quantify nature/nurture's influence (e.g. 40% bio, 60% enviro factor for aggression) because each individual is unique. But if the possibility arises to find these formulas, it would have great implications on shaping behavior!

I guess you simply found the question interesting, but by a mere guess, i would've thought up the same. nature and experiences will bring forth way different development in a human, there are many examples for this

There are so many ways I keep seeing this piece, so many meanings depending on how I feel at the time. It's really beautiful!Β I love when art can also invoke different meanings when I feel different things, as if it's reminding me that we don't have an answer, that (like so many things in this world) it's up to interpretation and all about perspective, that (as you pointed out) it's about the individual so it's impossible to say with 100% certainty what the answer is. Really nice piece! : )

i really love the concept behind this! i remember studying the whole nature/nurture debate as part of my psych class and it was just so fascinating! art-wise though this is lovely, i love all the little details - the dna jewellery/beads (i'm sorry i don't know the term!) and his crown, especially. really great work <3
