So, this is a photo of a couple of wooden logs stuck together, captured diagonically. At first sight, it's nothing special, one would say. However, taking a closer look at the picture, I was surprised to see that it is a great piece of art. Things that are unimportant in other kinds of pictures seem vital in this one.
First of all, let's look at the perspective of the photo, it is what impressed me the most. The direction of the logs and the point where the picture was taken from are particularly creative and, though simple, they create an outstanding result of a distorted space. There's not much depth of field, but the contrast between the colours of the front and the background create the perfect conditions for a sort of a paradox, if you look at the picture from a distance. The picture is of fine quality and the colours are great.
I believe that this image is the best possible for its kind. It does lack a concept (which doesn't really matter here) and in technique in general, though nothing too much.
All in all, I find this to be an extremely creative picture, simplistic and surreal. I give you the hat, my friend.
