Given that they're twins, Ezo's design was based mainly on that of his sister, Okami's. Now, I really wanted to make his fingertips red because of his fur pattern, but I cannot stress how bad it looked over all. It was just too much red in that general area, so I relented and changed it to grey. I also changed it back to fingerless glove style because I didn't like what it looked like before. His name comes from the wolf species, Ezo wolf, also known as the Hokkaido wolf.

Ezo Galen the Wolf, 17, is the younger twin brother of Okami and cousin to Lobo, William and Jacqueline and nephew of Anubis. Ezo is a higly competitive individual, especially with his sister Okami, but is still quite quiet and reserved. Despite this, the two are a deadly tag team. Because of the close relationship with his sister, he finds it hard to socialize with others. He can barely even decide what to do for himself when she is not around. He puts up a tough and confident front to be like his sister, but can't back it up. However, he is able to get along with Kabuto and Kuwaga - as all four of them share being twins. He often finds himself tagging along on whatever crazy plan his sister has - whether it's willing participation, reluctantly joining to make sure she'll be ok or simply following because he's not sure what else to do. Having received his cybernetics quite recently, he and Okami are still in training to get used to their new limbs. While he is not as adept at controlling machines as Okami, Ezo's robotic legs not only give him a greater speed when running, but also increased strength and even the ability to fly with built in rockets.
