I think that's the fastest I've ever uploaded a sketch and then completed the digital colored version. I guess my usual "suddenly back into Loonatics" streak has struck again. It's just another one of those small things I'm working on that I would like to wrap up in the near future.

You know the one thing I hate about Loonatics Unleashed... ok well, aside from the season 2 theme song. It's that Lexi is the ONLY female anthro in the entire series. That's not a lot of reference material. So, even when I drew Skye back then, I mainly used Sonic the Hedgehog characters as references, since they've got a pretty large anthro cast and are, I would say, one of the largest franchises with anthros.

I really hope I keep this pace up/interest in Loonatics long enough to even draw Skye's dad.

One look at Arianna, and it's clear where Skye gets her good looks from. She's an arctic wolf with blond hair and blue eyes, both of which her own daughter inherited. Arianna Wolfe is the wife of Demitri and the mother of Skye, my main Loonatics Unleashed character, who is a member of the Loonatics and love interest of Tech.

Born on Lupus K9, Arianna enrolled in the military when she was 18 and eventually became a sergeant major. She is a skilled hand-to-hand combat specialist and pilot. However, she sustained heavy injuries during a war and lost her right arm as a result and was subsequently placed under the care of Dr. Demitri Wolfe, a medical officer as well as weapons developer.

Seeing her condition, Demitri offered to build her a new arm, revealing that he had been attempting to create cybernetic limbs to replace ones that had been lost. Arianna agreed and within a year, she was fitted with a prototype and became the first Lupian to successfully be grafted with a cybernetic limb. Demitri remained close to monitor her progress with the arm as well as aid in her rehabilitation.

Over time, the two began falling in love. They eventually married and moved to Acmetropolis where they had one child, a daughter, Skye. However, shortly after Skye's birth, Arianna was called back to Lupus K9 to train new military recruits to aid in an ally planet's war effort. Because of this, Arianna has been largely absent from Skye life and is unaware of her husband's disappearance and her daughter's new career as a crime fighter.
