Hmmm, the Forgotten looks a bit different than last time. Hmmmmm. Zeragii couldn't have done that on purpose, nooo certainly not...
Before anyone asks, no, the Forgotten is not an alien. XDDD What do we already know about the Forgotten:
1. The Forgotten is beyond space and time.
2. They are not Chara.
3. They are not Gaster.
4. They have multiple souls within them (9 in all).
5. The souls seem to be high in something like DETERMINATION. But is it DT? Is it? Or something else? Something just as strong...
6. The souls within the Forgotten...are monster souls, not human.
7. The Forgotten can possess a host, but only after breaking the host's will enough that they give in. (Sort of a Bill Cipher deal, except at the time I came up with this I hadn't seen Gravity Falls
)8. The Forgotten has more than one form. Why? And what is their TRUE form?
9. The Forgotten hates, hates, HATES humanity. Humanity has wronged them, and they want revenge. For what? What was that wrong?
10. The Forgotten needs Frisk to LOSE her DETERMINATION, because as long as she has that, anything they do to humanity might just be undone. The only way to destroy Frisk's DETERMINATION is to crush her will to continue fighting. DESPAIR is the opposite of DETERMINATION.
11. The Forgotten KNOWS Sans. Has dealt with Sans in the past, and apparently Sans interfered then, just as he is now. When? Why? How?
XD I think that sums it up pretty well.

Ok, about the forgotten;
This is some theories- You said there were monsters souls in it (9 to be precise), So that narrows alot down, knowing that human souls weren't an option. Though you said they were high in something- you said as an example, DT- It could be that, or, it cpuld prehaps be something like Hope, L.O.V.E. , Execution Points- (Maybe something not even from this game?)
But, at the same time, what if the souls in this creature were from a different time frame; or a different place altogether- Not human doesn't necessarily have to mean monster- Maybe the souls could've been from the top guards from the war, which could explain the grudge against humanity... Or they could be the aware characters of Undertale finally having enough of RESETs and Genocide Runs; succombing to the deal of this creature- but their isn't 9 aware characters.... Right? What if the other characters they took were from another Universe- or some sort of a freak accident happens that makes more characters aware; unless they already knew before hand.. Maybe they could be some Unaware characters who know (nearly?) nothing about the resets.. But were pressured into the deal of the Forgotten.. What if the forgotten is just a body made out of DT or some other trait substance.. (maybe this is what is letting the monster souls continue to persist after a may-be death, maybe the character'll have to free these souls..)
Also; The name 'Forgotten' is a pretty strange name.... Don't ya think? (Maybe an accident happened to a human and/or monster that made them this way..)
(I'd go on more... but I feel as if I'd run out of space..) (Let's get some more loyal theorists to band togeather to try and find some clues to what this creature is! Or where it came from...(Maybe by using things like changing the brightness; etc..))
But most imprtantly- This is just a Theory! A comic theory-

Oh crap, I maybe understand now (I say maybe cause I could be totally wrong). If they're an amalgamate and they're "forgotten" (as in left behind notably) they can pretty much be Memoryhead... which would not be surprising seeing that the horror visions they create might echoes to the Bad Memories they give Frisk during their fight... and there's also their "come join the fun" thing... o-o;
