Description Wooo... I haven't submitted any deviations for nearly a month.

There's one universal fact about highschool. Programming Tech is as easy as it is boring. If you don't bring something to do, you fall asleep.
Friday had to be the one day I didn't bring my sketchbook with me.
So I used my tech binder instead, hence the lined paper.

So yeah, messy speed doodle. Techpriest of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Warhammer 40k rules.

Edited: Used a different scanner, produced clearer results. Not much difference, but I like it better.

the decorations on those robes, the scrolls of parchment and purity seals, the patrician features of the face, all look marvelous.

Both. I have a massive Eldar army, and a smaller Necron army. I've also used Space marines, tyranids, Tau, and Dark Eldar. And I've played DoW and all the expansions.

Seriously dunno where to begin. Just the variety of detail and the SHADING! I could never shade like that without the notebook likes still freakishly standing out, but the details and shading clearly overshadow them.

It's cool to see writing worked effectively into an image. Love how you hid your signature in there, too. Good job on the folds in the cloak. Must've taken forever to do all the details on the tubes running everywhere...only suggestion I'd really make is to smooth out the defining lines around the outer edges, might make it look a little more crisp.

Thanks. I thought hiding the signature made a nice addition. The tubes were really annoying. I would have smoothed it out, but it was late when I finished it, and had no real desire to make it pretty.

And though the scanner really didn't pick it up, one of the purity seals says "cheese" on it. lol. And thanks for adding me.

Incredible work an detail, the tipography in the Sleves, its a really cool detail, broke with all the draw and gives another point a view in the image.
