This creature looks amazing, but I stare thinking what is it queen of. Is there a race of these creatures? Does this queen have thousands of Hive soldiers at her command. Just would like more info on this magnificent creation.

I just love your creature designs 
Something particularly nice about your concepts is that you mix a savage/beastly part with an educated/elegant touch. Makes the creatures more difficult to read and guess their thoughts (something I too like doing with my own concepts).
Anyways, hope to see more and kudos for this one
