Description
This is for all the peeps that peeped my DA site. This was the picture I promised in my Journal. I did this pic as a commission for a friend of mine. I wasn't going to post it up here because it was very special to me. Peeps in ECAU have already seen it so y'all can take a pass on it. For the rest of y'all enjoy! Oh if u don't know the character well I'm sure somebody in the comments will say who it is. I know the title of the Deviation has nothing to do with the pic but James Brown is da Man!! Like always I did the line and my friend Mario Barraza did the CG work and BG*Edit* I know the arm is wrong

You know, if you flip the picture horizontaly, you can get Samus's arm cannon on the proper arm.

I like this very much.
I like the cartoony feel it has to it, from the black outlines to the extreme viewpoint. The background image is well done as well. The only thing I noticed is that Samus' arm cannon is on her right arm, not her left.

You do realise that her weapon is on the wrong arm. That weapon is meant to be on the right arm not the left.

I just need a tip. The linearts are done by hand or with the Photoshop Pen tool? Do you use a mask to paint behind the lineart? When i paint inside the lineart i canΒ΄t get rid of the pixels thar contour the lineart.

The lineart was done by hand and the color was done in Flash using vectors I believe

Probably not. Just that the arm is kinda a tiny oversight that they didn't care. The only reason why it's wrong is because I was to sleepy to redo the pic because it was a commission so I had to get it to the colorist the next day.
