Description
Finally done!Samus Aran in all her glory. I WUV her, she's the coolest video game heroine ever! n.n
Took me around 34 hours from idea to the finished result, but I learned a damn lot while doing this.

Nice pose but the arm seems a bit short even though it is holding the helmet,
But besides that the shading and colors make her look lik a Goddes. and her Arm Cannon Nice Touch with the detials, that think looks like it could do some serious damage

I know what you mean with the arm, but I guess it's a bit screwed up because of the kinda flat colouring. It looked right in the lineart. But hey, happens.

I dunno thats just me and heck I can't pull of anything of this capacity yet, so may you ignore me. anyway dispite that very good and inspiring work :3

Yeah, I agree with you - the left arm looks to short, even if it isn't. The shading on it isn't quite right - and that makes it look odd.

I really like this, it is a nice change from the anime version, with the big boobs and the gigantic eyes. This remindes me of almost a renaissance, Michael Angelo type feel to it (that sentance is AWESOME, not). It is hard to say. Instead of a hairline waist and big upper part, you make it more feminine and volouptuous!

Wow, it's been a while, but the end result does indeed look prett-ay snazz-ay! I love the soft focus look, as combined with her whispy hair it really makes Samus look more gentle than deadly, which is a refreshing take on things.

Great job! This is some of the best Samus fanart I've seen yet! It's even very anatomically accurate ^_^! meaning that it's believable that a woman actually fits in that suit. Great job with the colors and textures as well!

I like the color of Samus's suit, as well as the detail on her face. However, something bugs me. Her suit seems... too fat. It doesn't seem to get thing enough above the hips, and from then on out to the bottom, the suit itself seems chubby. It may just be the angle on how she is standing, though. Also, it feels like her legs are out of proportion. Like the lower leg is too short, as is the leg overall. Once again, though, maybe just how she is standing affects the way things look.
This is an excellent piece, though!

Samus is awesome! And so is the coloring on this. It's so soft. Samus looks pretty triumphant there, with her hair flowing around. This is fantastic.

'Tis is beatiful work indeed. The face looks nice (Although Samus doesn't have blue eyes), hair is awesome, colors are just right and the helmet is great.
I have a couple things that bother me though... First of all, Samus seems a bit too fat. Her waist and stomach are too wide, and the legs are too short, which make them look too thick also.
The arm cannon could be a bit taller (Unless it's the perspetive...).
But I don't know, maybe you tried to get it to look cartoonized by making the legs short and the waste thick...
It's still amazing, deserves a fav.

Basically it's called artistic license. Samus hair is also more yellow than white-blonde, especially when gone with the suitless model of Zero Mission, Fusion or now Metroid Prime 2; and lately she aquired a vastly different hairstyle. I went with a more human anatomy in this one than it's done in the game. And adding to that at least 5 centimetres of steel armour everywhere, and you get that effect. 
It's my interpretation of her, that's why it's fanart.
But yeah, the picture has perspective and lightning issues, especially on the arm cannon. But fixing that would require to repaint the whole thing, and I'd prefer to do an action scene the next time.
