Well, this is just another of those one-time drawn characters of mine, Ram. And yeah, one of the first times i actually spent alot of time on the bg
There you go guys!EDIT-> yeah, i know the sketch kinda sux, hah. I know bout the eyes looking weird as well as the hand :/ sooo... crit on anything other than that! next time ill make a good sketch before i color, heheh
EDIT #2-> Im sorry Sundang!! OMG, i forgot to add i took sundangs matte painting for the bottom part of the image .... now im gonna kill myself... *ashamed as hell*

i really like the character design of this fellow...hmmm whats his name?? it's kinda like a futurisitic native american style, i love it b/c i'm NA as well *BIG GRIN*. the bg fits well and the color scheme is awesome too, it fits very well with his aura. just gonna fav. to show the love!!!XD (the only thing that i see that could be fixed is the thumb but some one already pointed that out)

a great pice of work but the sky intensity is too close to th forground and that is causing the character to be lost

The BG looks really nice! I like the use of "light" in the clouds and the deepness of the far away land.
But there are some things that don`t seem right to me in the character (besides from the eyes and the hand 
1- The sword is kind of "out of line" with it`s tsuba.
2- The torax looks like this guy have no ribs.
3- The bandana (can`t find a better word for it) looks like it`s part of his forehead.
Even so, there is a remarcable use of secondary light source in the character coloring and your always good use of contrast.
It is a very good looking piece with some little strange looking things. I like it, and am waiting for more!

This is really good, i like the sketch with in the colored drawing and such i can't describe it but i really like it.

Ecerything is great... however there is something wrong with the sword he is carrying... the handle doesn't seem to be aligned from where he was holding it... the moment it appeared from the back of his neck the lines just didn't fit... Aside from that the art is great...

Another masterpiece from Mr. Cartin. The clouds give a mystic feeling, the torn end of his sword's sheath gives it a really cool battle-torn feeling, and the warm colors give it a well... warm feeling. I love it.

That looks incredible.. I really like the sketchiness to the lineart, and the backround! It looks awesome, especially the clouds. I love the clouds. XD Anyway.. the one thing that sticks out to me is the paint (?) on his face. It looks really thick, something seems slightly raised off the skin about it. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, or maybe a more 'war-paint' type thing? Then I think perhaps it should be a bit thinner? Also, I'm not sure where the light source is.. it seems to be comming from the front of him according to his face, but there are highlights on the back of his arm and his back. I'm actually not too good at lighting, so I don't know if that's correct or not, I thought I might just point it out just incase, you know?
Ah well.. it's a very well done picture, he looks like he could be pretty cool. ^^
