Episode 41It never gets easier, but we learn to move on.
When a central character like Lilly dies, it's important to give proper time to everyone's response to it, but then it ends up taking up an entire episode. Of course, it wasn't just that Lilly was beloved by everyone in the team, but that her's was the death that finally made Jet realize she needs to take responsibility for these "accidents," so story wise I think it was worth giving more time to it. Thank goodness Alder showed up to lighten the mood a bit.
The plot will start moving again next month, and I promise not every death from here on out will merit an entire episode of follow up.

Favorite Pokemon of the page: Characterwise: July. I totally get her point. She feels responsible for what happend, because she couldn't really do anything in the fight, but she is not on the same emotional level as the other team-member, cause she didn't had that shared history with Lilly. So she tries to be there for her friends, tries to help them. Emotional stuff.
Favorite Pokekom of the page: Artwise: I really like that tiny little Joltik in panel 63. So tiny, easy to miss, but it's so cool that it is there.Β

If I know one thing from a Nuzlocke loss, it's this: it's hard, especially if your friend has been there since the beginning and has always been supporting you since then. I've read this comic from beginning to now and I can say Lilly has been that friend, supporting Jet since. For some, it would be time to give up to stop the pain of loss, but for her, I can tell and know it will give the whole team a new perspective and chance to evolve, some more than others.
So, I can say that Jet will keep going for her dream, no matter what.

Eventual plan is Yellow > Crystal > LeafGreen > Emerald > SoulSilver > Platinum > White > White 2 > OmegaRuby > Y > Moon. What can I say? I tend to prefer the second half of a pair (Ruby/OmegaRuby being the lone exception so far).
The worst loss so far is probably Flower the Bulbasaur. Who got one-shot by a crit in his very first fight. That was just painful.

Yeah. Though to be fair, I suppose I am cheating slightly because - on account of it being Special Pikachu Edition - Pikachu is the one and only Pokemon I cannot loose. If I loose him, it's back to the last save.
That said, Poison became significantly less threatening when I noticed that HP ticks down at a rate of 1 every 4 steps, and that the counter resets when you go through a door (So like, take 3 steps, walk through a door, you can take 3 more before poison hits). Useful for maximizing the mileage you get out of potions and antidotes.

Lilly was my favorite, along with Firedog, so seeing this amount of time put into the aftermath of her death really made me happy. Thanks for that!

I really like how you develop this, usually the big death of a character in a nuzlocke is too melodramatic or too plain, I think you made a good equlibrium and gave it the right amount of space.
