Yup this is a simple single layer sketch done in Photoshop CS3 using a wacom tablet. I try to do drawings like this before going into a digital painting project. I find it's also good practice using the tablet. This was one of the better sketches I've done, so I added a little detail and posted it where most of this stuff never ends up online.
