the reference shot was somewhat difficult to work with tinally, so I tried to ape a gelatin print effect to go with the starkness of the line work by using a few layers of stainless steel and iridescent pearl colored paint (thank you Liquitex, for having every bonzo color under the sun).this is ~leucothea go by her page and say "hi" or something

I'm not crazy about her eyelashes--they look like they're coming over the top of the frames . . . but other than that, I like the bits of color and the use of the picture in this.

nice touch in your work. reminds me something primitive. something like in works of clive baker, j o`barr, dave mckean, i dont know but i would like to do just the same. wild lines still nothing too much, minimalistic. sorry about my english

Your english is fine (at least I think I understand what you stated). I am not a fan of O'Barr, but I do like Dave McKean (and by influence, Bill Sienkiewicz, who McKeans linework borrows from heavily).
