I just stumbled across your series and since I'm a sucker for original creature species and symbolistic designs, this definately got my attention! You're work is amazing and I hope to stay to see the more wonderful masterpieces you will make!

i was actually only searching for a way to express a physical appearance of my own demons being as I know what they are but dont know what they would like, because i had an art project in mind concerning them. Be assured, im not going to steal your work but thank you a lot for helping me get some ideas of how i should go about this and what details would help further define which demons are which.

I quite enjoy your work. It's a very unique and direct way to inform people about mental disorders, which, surprisingly, people still have very little knowledge of despite the fact it's seemingly becoming a pandemic. But I must say one thing about this one, you may or may have not forgotten to mention that it's of then found working with OCD or ADHD, but may also be found with PTSD, insomnia, and anxiety disorders. And many mental patients are found to have some sort of substance abuse or dependence, whether it be alcohol or drugs. But very good job I admire you very much.

The number two;(1,2), is one, less than three (3). Bi, is defined as being two(2), -polar infers two(2). There is not a fine line between the number one and the number two. 1, 1 1/2, 1 2/3, 1 3/4, 2. If two (2) is a disorder, "split" than, what is the disorder for numbers 1,3?
The entire phonetics, (Mental Health), doesn't exist in a medical arena. The Mid-Evil approach to your brain; mind is well into the Dark Ages, year 2014; there is no light at the end of this tunnel.

Oh my god its one of my favourites by far! I'm curious as to what you use to draw/colour these monsters, do you use water colours?

I make everything digitally, using watercolour brushes and textures Ive made myself. Its supposed the look like ive used watercolour.. but without all the mistakes and time!! haha

Wow, what an ambitious redesign. It's very different from your original design, but it's really wonderful. It reads very well, and I hope no one has misinterpreted shapes to be inappropriate this time around?

Im glad you like it, the redesign was very ambitious indeed but I think the concept is much stronger as a whole now. If someone does find any inappropriate shapes this time.. then... they win an award for looking at my work for too long!

It is a much stronger concept. I love how deliberate all the lines feel, but it doesn't feel static or wooden. It's still very organic and the linework has this good weighty quality to it without being over-bold or in your face about it. It's subtle, but still very strong and I think that works all the better for Bipolar. I've been able to witness that one personally from an outside perspective since my older sister has bipolar and I've seen her at both ends of the spectrum with it. So I would say the interpretation based on a turtle/tortoise is pretty appropriate. Personally, I see this design as kind of like an alligator snapping turtle, because for all it's slow creeping at times, when it decides to it can strike very quickly and with an incredible amount of force.
