[SHOCKING] Elena not tied up.I haven't finished editing Elena's bio yet (next task on my list), but her gimmick is that she's a mage who transforms magical energy into physical objects. She's doing just that in this picture, taking a little pleasure in showing off. Fantasy themed character, obviously.
I've had the sketch of this lying around for months, but I only just finished it this week.
One down, fifty billion to go.

Looking familiar... A redo of Elena2, I assume? Haha.
Most definitely looking better; the pose is much more dynamic, and the colors more pleasant. The glowing effect is nice too, but you'll probably have to start thinking about how to give them a disruption effect for the collab thing.
One thing about the arrows, the way they break doesn't look too natural, if the shield is supposed to be solid... Not sure how to explain that, though, but it's not like it's too important, haha.

Yeah, this was done as pretty much just a better version of that. I also used it as way to start working out a definite procedure for doing the magicky effects, though I'll probably just be winging it for the disruption stuff. Not like anyone will be noticing it with the two cuties in the spotlight
I don't get the arrow either. I think having it bend some instead of being completely rigid would have helped. It'd be more realistic at the very least.

In all seriousness, I think this is the most complete and, er, un-obscured version of her fully-clothed outfit we've got to see so far so that's cool. Not sure the swooshy dagger is accomplishing much but it looks fancy

The numbers refer to the order in which I originally saved the sketches and just carry over to the title, unless I think of real winners like "[WOW][AMAZING]YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!" to replace them. That's my cover story, at least, as I sneak my way into the trading card biz. Shh.
Yeah, most of the time Elena's dress gets in the way or is tactically positioned to make my job easier.
The whole swoosh thing was a reaction to my discovery of noise gradients in photoshop today and my inability to not be distracted by bright neon colors. Elena actually has no idea how to properly fight with any sort of weaponry; she just conjures up stuff to make herself look more intimidating!
