I know everyone's been commenting about the use of color in this piece, but it really is brilliant.Β Your work with lighting is amazing, too, though.Β How that vial in the center gleams - it could be a crystal.Β The men just in shadowed gray.
And Overkill's expression... he actually looks a bit peaceful to me - like he's found a little sanity in purpose here.

I can imagine Snowflake trying to thank Overkill and Overkill just saying something like "don't thank me, all our blood is the same" or something nihilistic then grinning like a psycho (redundant I know) and claiming that by saving Snowflake's life snowflake is now his slave or something

I could also see that happening. Overkill's not a fan of the whole slavery thing, for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't put guilt-tripping past him, not in the slightest.

Snowflake's pose looks so tired but also restless, like he's been tossing and turning and unable to get comfortable. Poor kid. And I'm thinking that Overkill is giving blood to him? Maybe I'm just projecting my rp group's discussions about how having identical genes makes blood transfusions a lot easier xD The one spark of color in the piece just MAKES it.

Well Snowflake looks like he's seen better days and Overkill seems a little less alive at the moment.

Umbara took a toll on everyone.Β Unfortunately Snowflake fared worse than most, sustaining injury as well as losing his Kamino squad, but not as much as some. At bare minimum, even those emerging unscathed after capturing the Umbaran base still have to deal with Krell at this point.
