Description How to make this Raman

- Your Favorite Raman
- Onions (White, Red, and Spring)
- Seaweed
- Cheese
- Egg

Slice a thick onion and get a big ring, set it aside. Chop up as many onions you desire, and fry them in a fan with olive oil. Once those are done, put aside. Place the ring in the pan with the oil, and then crack the egg into the ring. Let it cook, then flip over until it is fully cooked.

Place the cooked egg and onion on a bed of seaweed, floating on top of the raman. Make sure you've drained most of the water so the egg and seaweed don't sink. It should rest on top of the noodles. Sprinkle cheese and seasonings.

Experiment and enjoy. The ponies seemed to like it.

EDIT - This also works well on any dish where an onion and egg are acceptable. For example, try making the egg/onion combo and put it on a hamburger, or on some toast for breakfast.

This sounds surprisingly good. I never would have thought to use an onion ring to hold and form an egg when cooking it. That's genius! Do you scramble the egg before pouring it into the onion ring, or just crack it right into it, as if you were making an over-easy egg?

Either way works. I have tried it both ways and it's good. My preference is to just crack it in and break up the yoke so that it is a solid mass.

It just takes experimentation and understanding your preferences.

Ah, alright then. I'll try it both ways. So, have you come across any other interesting dishes in Japan that you like?

I did teach myself how to make Onigiri, and there is one breakfast I made with eggs and rice, where I made a cup of rice, sprinkled soysauce on it, then fried two whipped eggs. I put some sauce on the eggs and flipped it onto the ricebowl and sprinkled spring onions on top. I want to add some more vegetables into the rice mix, but I am still experimenting with it.

Oh, nice, I've never tried onigiri. The rice and eggs sounds similar to something I make occasionally. I like having eggs with rice every now and then. Oh, but have you been to any good restaurants over there? I don't know what they have where you're staying, but when I was in Okinawa, we found some places to get some really good yakisoba, and the atmosphere of the place was pretty cool.

I would highly advise against it. Eat it hot, that's the way it's supposed to be.

I'll have to try this recipe, maybe make a card for it in LOL Card (once I finish the code for the 200 cards the I already have). Is it going to turn into a brick if I leave it out for too long? Because I still have two muffins that could probably break the plate they're on, and they haven't gone bad.

How do you mean? I just put the fried egg on top of the noodles as soon as I finish it. I usually cook the raman at the same time so that I can get them together and time it correctly.

I'm saying if I forget about it and don't finish it, I'll still be able to get it out of the bowl it's in if it gets left sitting out for three days right.
