Stalin is our hero, although he was cruel, but fair.

I'd say Tyrant, but a damn effective one if I've ever seen one.

Using Stalin as the subject instead of somebody like the Queen of England makes the piece very ironic

I believe he was one of the worst rulers of all time. Destroyed everything lenin (the good ruler) did. Good artwork though

Actually what many forget is that under Lenin was the only time atrocities were openly admitted (the Red Terror) besides the man had a million people weeping at the news of his death and his cult of personality was perhaps the most powerful and realistic example of a Big Brother persona. As a man he was a monster, but as a politician he was closer to a God.

That's funny because I recall Napoleon once saying "What is history but a fable agreed upon?"

I am neutral at this, I don't like Stalin much myself, being a Lenin supporter. People see Stalin the way that the US had saw him for the last 40 years, with fear and apprehension (they had a good reason, he was really paranoid), but even he had his perks like boosting the economy, he industrialized the USSR.

Yea but he stole the 5 year plans from Trotsky and left the world revolution to rot when it had its best chance of success. Europe practically ran the world at the time.

the world revolution was unrealistic at the time, and by the time stalin took power, its "best chance" was already gone.
