Mulan was one of those Disney films that truly surprised me at least topically - boil it down the essentials thusly: girl joins the military to save her father and eventually her country. Wow. No princesses, no fairy dust, there were some laughs but this guy - Shan Yu was as bloodthirsty a villain as Disney ever had the courage to depict. And yet I remember hearing people referring to it as a "typical Disney" movie. Truly an unfair criticism if ever there was one and yes the film has it's flaws and westernizations, but the core theme of service and honor is still strong.Anyway - I did this as a warmup a little bit ago and never thought I would post it.

Oh man, that is what I was looking for: well-done pic of Shan-Yu on DA. Truth must be told, I am stunned. And amazed, there's no single flaw in his pose, anywhere. That must go on my favlist.
(Perhaps Hayabusa looks rather like an eager than falcon, but who cares, when I cannot stop looking into Shan-Yu's eyes)

Really? Wow - someone out there loves that character as much as I do? Awesome! You know you're right about that falcon - if I do anything it's going to make that sucker look like a falcon - they are very distinct from eagles.
