Biography:
Created in a lab the Nephilim scientist Jeyova, Gabrael and his brother Michael were the first of a group of tech-advanced human-based weapons created towards the end of the of the Netherealm War on Ancient Earth. Although unsuccessful in their original task of saving the Nephilim from eradication, Jeyova eventually created four more of these Angelus and tasked them with protecting the last intelligent species on the planet- Humanity. Michael, turning his back on who he viewed as the enemy, joined the last of the Nephilim as they left Earth and vowed to one day reclaim the world for his creators. Gabrael, along with the rest of his remaining brothers and sisters, were determined to carry out Jeyova's last wishes.

Founding the First Human City- Enoch, Gabrael created a safe haven for humanity as the Angelus fought their way across the planet, freeing the enslaved humans from their demonic oppressors. Eventually, with the assistance of human spiritualists, the Angelus were finally able to seal the Nexus Gates, locking the Demonic Horde from Earth once and for all and even imprisoning three of the Archdukes of the Nether in stasis prisons below the city of Enoch itself. A period of peace and prosperity fell across the world for the first time in over a millennia.

Unfortunately, Gabrael and his Angelus siblings were weapons of war, and peace did not suit them. Although they strove to keep peace, infighting soon erupted amongst them pitting brother against sister for supremacy. Unbeknownst to the Angelus, Belial's stasis prison had begun to falter and his demonic influence festered and grew with the conflict, eventually infecting the lifeforce of Azrael, Gabrael's chief rival. Utilizing this growing influence Azrael lead his siblings against Gabrael in a massive battle that shook Enoch to its foundations. In the end only Samael survived the battle, ashamed at her own actions after realizing Azrael's manipulations.

The Angelus' story does not end there however- for they are true immortals. Although their physical bodies destroyed each had in their possession a phylactery gem designed to hold their lifeforce until a new suitable host could be found. In the case of Gabrael that stone was the Angel's Tear...
