Description
CHINCHILLA
The chinchilla series determines if colored pigment is expressed. The most dominant allele, C, allows for full pigment and all normal color and patterns to be expressed as they normally would.
COLORPOINT
Colorpoint, cp, causes pigment on the body to not be produced. Color will show on the head, legs, and tail in the weakest expression of colorpoint. The most extensive form only has color on the head, bottom of the feet, and tip of the tail. Any color, patterns, white markings, or mutations will only show on the extremities. The pigmentless areas are cream to white or off white. The eyes can be a shade of pale blue.
ALBINO
Albino is the complete lack of pigment. The entire body is white or off white, and the eyes are pink or red. The skin is also pink. No other color or patterns show on the body.

A NOTE ABOUT VISUAL GUIDES
Zhoruka visual guides offer general guidelines for colors, patterns, placement of markings, and extension of markings. They are not set in stone, hard rules, but they are fairly true to our design expectations. You are not required to color pick from gradients; they are meant as a starting point for those who may not know what colors to use.
