Happy Valentines Day! So I'm pretty sure I've never painted a dragon. This was a very fun painting. Heavily inspired by *sandara . I love her work.-ZhouRules (Chris Shehan)

Ooh, this is really lovely. I like the way you did the dragon's scales. Though they're not terribly detailed, you still managed to give them a real sense of texture and tangibility through the colours and light - it looks very reflective and shiny.
Always such an iconic motive - beauties and beasts, huh? I have to say though, it rarely gets old for me. Have you seen Somefield's work? [link] Has a bunch of great stuff with that motive.

thanks! I was terrified to do the scales. I paid close attention to the way *sandara did it and it's actually pretty easy! thanks for the link too that stuff looks really cool! ya you don't go wrong with Beauty and the Beast.

Thank you! Most of those are happy accidents. I love it when I get certain effects on accident while painting that work better than my original plan.
