Awesome piece Chris! I really dig the sparks, but I have to say the armor isn't looking to much like armor, at least like the armor you've drawn for him before. Then again it's a speed paint so I guess it doesn't matter. He looks buff as hell though.

Reminds me of Positron's armor in City of Heroes. Inspired, perhaps? :3

I actually created this character before City of Heroes even came out and his armor is inspired by Grey Fox's exoskeleton in MGS1 and a short film I saw int he 8th grade. I actually didn't know Positron until you mentioned it and I just looked it up and it is pretty similar. I guess no idea is completely unique anymore haha.

is your period late? lol. I haven't painted in a while. I feel a bit rusty. I was struggling with this thing. Trying to get my speedies faster so I have time to do one a day. Whether its environment or character work I wanna get better and faster. I keep seeing these guys do these amazing things in like 30 minutes.
