Lovely, absolutely gorgeous. I have been dancing since I was four years old, and I have seen/been in this position hundreds of times. It's very real, and upon first examination, I assumed this was actually a pastel drawing.

When I first saw this I was wonderstruck by the colors, and I only notice one little thing, No one. I mean, No one can fit their toes in that kind of shoe with a deep, narrow vamp like that. Just sayin, from a dancer. Really brilliant though!

For a moment, I thought this was one of Degas' paintings. (Certainly has a similar feel.) But I see you've used other elements to give this picture a more colourful, textured feel. Well done! ^^
