Oh it was this wierd and cruel tradition at the university the tv show is set in. They have this marathon each year and the person that is last has to carry the name "turtle", and wear a turtle shell. I guess they thought it was some kind of motivatioon or anything...
Well the main girl was the "turtle" and was very motivated to get that shell off her back!
In the marathon she tripped and so the guy helped her up. Aww...I love cliche mushy shows... XD
