i just Love/Hate MS Paint! It takes time to get used to it and actually do stuff, but you can actually get some good shit (like this piece) that looks amazing!

most people on devart probably use photoshop. i feel inferior too, but it just motivates me more ^^
you're so lucky to learn design in college. my parents won't let me major in art so i have to go the roundabout way by minoring after i've stabilized my lifestyle away from home. i'm not even out of high school lol.

i'm happy to hear that you tried hard to get in. i assume i won't get in if i tried a million times, although my graphic design teacher seems to have a ridiculous amount of faith in me. XD my mom says she'll let me take art classes outside of college, but i don't know if a dual major would allow me enough time. it's so depressing really, but i'll deal somehow.

It doesn't cease to amaze me how much drive you have. I think that's really inspiring, that you just keep going even if your hand is hurt and the art is still rocking.
