Hey there fellow Deviants!
Um, I'm currently home, sick as a dog, blowing a million tissues and all.... but! I thought, "what the hey, lets avoid doing my homework and draw ;D "

So, I've been wanting to do a 'improvement meme' of some sort and chose the 'Draw this again' ( [link] ) by *Bampire .

So, um, the picture from 2008 is the first ever digital picture that I created. I was in the 8th grade/1st year of junior high (LOL FOR ANYONE AMERICAN, OTL, I CAN'T EVEN) so I was approximately 14 at the time.

She was my Vocaloid OC, Nobu, and as you can see, I was pretty dodgy at everything at that stage still am.

I also conveniently forgot to draw eye brows... PFFT.

But I guess I really wanted to do this, to sort of, encourage myself and just make a visual reminder that no matter how unhappy we may be with ourselves or our art for instance, no matter how slow of fast, we all gradually change and improve somehow.

I know I'm far from perfect as an artist, and I still don't really like my art, even when I see how differently I draw now, but I know its a goal I'll keep working towards with passion and some form of dedication!

SO YEAH, TO ALL YOU STRUGGLING SELF HATIN' ARTISTS OUT THERE, I'M ONE OF YOU, BUT PERHAPS A LIL MORE OPTIMISTIC. LETS ALL IMPROVE SOMEHOW TOGETHER~
