Essentially, the farther you get from the sea to temper the climate (in those latitudes, at least), the greater the interval between the temperatures gets. So, yeah, there's the insane frosty winters we all know from the movies but also summers in which Moscow has some casual 40ยฐcelsius ( 104ยฐ Fahrenheit ). More than warm enough to take your top off.
