A civics project, where I had to come up with a U.S. Flag redesign. Here's the symbolism:50 Stars = 50 States
13 Stripes = 13 Colonies
Red = Valor
Blue = Justice
Silver = Diversity/Unity
Gold = Power
White = Glory
Eagle = The silver head and tail feathers with the gold body shows how it is our differences that make our nation great, how our diversity is what keeps us strong, and how our unity makes us invincible.
E Pluribus, Unum = Out of many, one; The United States motto, translated from Latin.

The colors seem dim, and weren\'t you always talking about how the Stripes should be black because the USA isn\'t 100% white anymore?

Actually, I DID say that, but I just kinda thought silver would rock more. I was trying to remove white because the color symbolized purity. But then I thought "Wait, what do you get when you mix all colors together?" Gray.

Actually, mine does too. See, after we turned this in, we ended up writing a 10-slide powerpoint+14 paragraph essay on a government going through change in the world, and I got Russia.
But whaddya mean random? Not many people consider a 232 year old national motto random.
