Description
Due to its elegant, agile, uncluttered looks, Typhlosion is one of my favorite Pokemon designs. One of my older (in terms of when he was created, not his age) and more important characters is one too. So it's only fitting that he should finally be represented with a portrait. Here he is, smiling for the picture.

The interesting ear shape/resting position is intended to be close to the official design; they're not "laid back" due to mood. I assume that the official design has the ears swept back to enhance the streamlined look and help keep them out of harm's way.

Typhoon (one way you can tell he's an older character is the lack of creativity in the naming...) is Philip's right-hand man, performing many leadership tasks and providing encouragement to get things done. A fast learner, he is also quite savvy in operating almost anything he comes across. He is often subtle rather than flashy, but quite indispensable, though he is happy to show his skills when it's called for. His natural sweetness and great sense of humor don't get in the way of ridiculous effectiveness in a fight. Considering his attributes gave me a list along the lines of patient, kind, not jealous or boastful, not arrogant or resentful...those sound familiar from somewhere .

I love the beautiful blue coloring with hints of green in the highlights. It seems quite realistic for his slick, fire-resistant hair.
