Description
Raleigh is making his return after getting imprisoned in the first Sly Cooper adventure.

After escaping prison with the aid of three paper clips, two rubber bands, a stick of gum, and his own mucus, Raleigh went on the run and planned to return to his base on Wrath Island, but found not much left of his ships or resources, whatever Interpol didn't take, the rest was surely stolen by rival pirates or henchmen turned traitor. With barely anything left to his name, Raleigh needed to find someone to bankroll his inventions until he could finance himself. After going through 7 different bosses with various degrees of failure to their plans, Raleigh found a very promising prospect with Don Octavio Leonetti. The lion crime boss needed something to get the entire city of Venice under his control and needed some sinister plans to make that happen. Raleigh had to compete with two other mad scientists and his results were particularly nefarious. Raleigh came up with a combustible powder that could be dumped into the waters of Venice and explode upon a special frequency that came from a compact device. Raleigh would make this device come in the form of a pocket watch for Don Octavio.

With being the chief scientist for Octavio's criminal empire, Raleigh was coming up with all kinds of plans that this new venture would make possible now, but like all good things in Raleigh's life, a wrench has to be thrown in to ruin everything. This came in the form of the ring tailed menace that ruined his previous plans. The Cooper Gang was in Venice and they were looking to dismantle Octavio's operation and stop the lion's rule over Venice. Octavio commanded Raleigh to come up with countermeasures to stop the Cooper Gang, but the seemed to be one step ahead of the genius frog and get around his plans. Raleigh would eventually take off since he knows how this story ends and it doesn't end well for guys like him or Octavio.

Additional Info
1) Raleigh's new cane lacks the weather causing abilities it once had and now only sports a top in the form of a jade frog, but hidden underneath it is a surprise flash grenade to help him escape if he's ever cornered.

2) Raleigh's new outfit is courtesy of Octavio's tailor who gave outfits to every person working under the lion. Raleigh kept some stuff from his previous appearance, but much of it had to change.
