3D Studio Max Render and Mesh, Brushing in Photoshop, 2D from IllustratorThis has taken me about 3 weeks on and off to finish. The meshwork was from work I did for my Super.structure set, and this image has been sat half finished for ages. I knew what I wanted to do with it, just couldnt seem to get it right.
Kudos to *wirestyle tho, because its his influence and advice that has pushed me to finish this properly and not just submit it for the sake of it (or scrap it either which was close at one stage). So, thanks bud, u really helped me put some perspective on the way I work.
Its also nice to break out of my Wallpaper res and onto something a little different. This was rendered at 3600x2400 so there is a lot of detail missing from this submission. The print looks great tho

Purpleeeee!!!!!!!!! I love this colour, it is the most beautiful and balanced colour, containing red and blue, the warmest and the coldest colour together, playing with more from the one or the other you achieve colder or warmer effects, or even totally balanced...

I'd love to learn how you do your backgrounds and incorporate the renders into said backgrounds. I've got a lot of raw renders sitting around, and haven't the slightest clue what to do with 'em!
