For whenever a point in the franchise comes with Yoshiβs franchise finally gaining a 2nd rep, the best guess for that would probably be Poochy. Iβm sure heβd turn out well despite being on all fours, thereβs already been Ivysaur and the Duck Hunt Dog who are already like that after all.

Currently Yoshi and F-Zero are the only playable franchises from the Original Smash Bros. to still have one rep, as in playable character. Someone should definitely fight alongside both Yoshi and Captain Falcon respectively at some point in the franchise, the perfect idea for who should be alongside Yoshi with that is Poochy.

If a mouse could have a dog, why can't a dinosaur have one? I love Poochy ever since Yoshi's Island, but Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World made me like him even more! But Yoshi's Story made me love him more than that!

Why does everyone like to pretend Poochy wasn't in a Yoshi game until Yoshi's Woolly World? He was in earlier games, despite being pretty useless in most of them (I'm not counting Yoshi's Story because no one likes that game. 
Is it because of 3DS version, where he has a much bigger role? Because I can buy that, but that doesn't mean people have to pretend that Poochy didn't exist before Yoshi's Woolly World.
