- Takeout; Besides working long hours that leave little time for cooking, Gabi is useless in the kitchen. She's well-known and has 'usual' orders at quite a few places.
- Her mother's cooking; Gabi visits home often and never leaves empty handed.
- Lingerie; Underneath her oil stained work clothes, Gabi likes to wear pretty, frilly things.
- Hands on work; She would be extremely unhappy if her work had anything to do with sitting at a desk.

- People hovering over her while she is working; At the first offense she will politely ask you to back away. After than you might get snapped at.

- Welding; Gabi's specialty, her welding is clean and precise.
- Forging props and weapons; A hobby Gabi developed after she had been welding for a few years. Her interest was originally peaked by videos of blacksmithing her brothers showed her one holiday. While quite different from welding, following a few years of trial and error, Gabi has gotten quite good at not just the basics but some finer detailed work.
- Bilingual; Understands, speaks, and reads Spanish. Not great at writing it because she never had formal education in Spanish.

- Bad at keeping in contact with people who are not her mother (who she calls at least 2 times a week and visits bi-weekly). She gets too wrapped up in her day to day, doesn't text much, and doesn't keep social media. She can also get annoyed by people bringing this up, insisting that they can come havea face to face interaction with her.
- A creature of habit, she doesn't often take risks or mix things up. This can lead to a lot of missed opportunities that she regrets.

The long and short of it is that Gabriella grew up fast as the eldest child of a family of four: herself, her mother, and her two younger brothers. Their father passed away when she was four and her brothers where two and one respectively. Her mother worked hard to support them, and as soon as Gabi was old enough, she started taking on the role of the second parent in the family. It was Gabi that had to figure out how to fix the old family car so that her mother could get to work--and this was where her skillset and interest in becoming a mechanic developed. While her mother worked and handled cooking, Gabi was the one to fix any issues with their two-bedroom house or the car, while they split cleaning (enlisting her brothers when they become old enough).

Gabi never saw higher education as an option for her as they a) couldn't afford it in money or time and b) she was always a restless child and sitting aorund in class for another undefined number of years did not sound appealing. Instead she went to a trade school to become a mechanic straight out of high school and was hired in a garage within the next couple of years. One of her brothers took the higher education route and become an Elementary School teacher, while her other brother is a legal secretary.
