I wanted to create a girl with an exotic look to her. I had this idea for an outfit and it turned out as I pictured it.I created her a few weeks back but didn't post her earlier as I forgot all about it. I can tell you I really look forward to the holidays, been a crazy December this year.
I made her with my Supracolour colour pencils on grainy sketching paper. I used a long time to blend in the colours to make it look as smooth as possible.
I had a black and white base photo for the pose. Shading, light, features and clothing is changed to my own liking. I really like doing these kinds of girls because it challenges me in colours, style and expression.

There's something wrong with the rigth (picture view) arm. I think the upper part is too long and the other too short......or only to thin.....I don't know, there is something that disturbs me a little O.o
But the pose and the clothings remember me on christina Aguilera, as she was "younger". You know that video with the boxmatch? That kind of Christina^^

This is exactly the sort of art I wished to improve in. I drew alot of faerie back in the day, and now I'm into photography, but I would love to improve in shading with my colors and form design. Bravo!

i like your shading and how you did the hair. it seems so silky. the only thing is maybe her face...i think if you drew the glare in a different spot, she wouldnt look so distant, other than that great pose and good job :]
